Meet Kaytee

A woman with curly hair smiling, wearing a denim jacket and standing outdoors with crossed arms.

Hi! I am Kaytee (she/her)

I specialize in working with survivors of family and relationship trauma, psychological abuse, and CPTSD. I am a psychotherapist, author, educator, and proud cat mom of three fur babies.

I’m a writer for Psychology Today where I post regularly about trauma and healing.

I am also a full time PhD student researching intimate partner violence at Michigan State University. And while academic journals can be cool and all, I like the idea of having information that is accessible and available to those who need it, when they need it. So all my articles are free to browse and read. If you are looking for something deeper- I have several books available.

I have a special spot for survivors in the LGBTQ community- you are welcome here! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Feel free to browse through!

"This book is for everyone, because if you haven't experienced family trauma directly, chances are someone you love has... Highly recommend!!"
